Digital Services Act

1. About This Page

Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, the Digital Services Act ("DSA"), requires providers of intermediary services offering services in the European Union to publish certain information: a legal representative in the Union, a point of contact for authorities and for users, and a route for reporting illegal content.

Outermind, Inc. is established in the United States. This page sets out that information for the Outermind service.

2. Legal Representative in the European Union (Article 13)

Outermind, Inc. has appointed the following Legal Representative in the European Union for the purposes of Article 13 of the Digital Services Act.

5. Reporting Illegal Content (Article 16)

If you believe content on the Outermind service is illegal, you may notify us at legal@outermind.ai. To help us assess your notice, please include:

• A sufficiently substantiated explanation of why you consider the content illegal
• A clear indication of where the content is located, such as an exact URL
• Your name and email address, unless the notice concerns child sexual abuse material or certain other offences, where you may notify us anonymously
• A statement confirming your good-faith belief that the information in the notice is accurate and complete

We will send you a confirmation of receipt without undue delay, decide on the notice in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner, and inform you of our decision and of the redress options available to you. Where we use automated means in handling a notice we will say so.

Outermind is a business software service and does not host publicly available content shared by the general public. Notices of this kind are expected to be rare, but the route above is available and monitored.

6. Content Restrictions and Complaints

Information about the restrictions we impose on the use of our service, and how we enforce them, is set out in section 8 of our Terms of Service. If we restrict your content or account and you believe the decision was wrong, you may contest it by writing to legal@outermind.ai.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator in your Member State, and to select a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Article 21 of the DSA.
