What is BYOK?
Bring Your Own Key means you provide your own LLM API key (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or Azure AI). You pay your provider directly for token usage at their rates. This gives you cost transparency and control over your AI spending. Outermind tracks costs across all billing dimensions - cache reads, cache writes, and long context surcharges - so your usage reports accurately reflect what your provider charges. The one exception is the 30 Day Trial, which includes $100 in Outermind-supplied LLM credits (currently available to US-region customers) so you can evaluate the platform before you bring your own key.
Are there per-seat costs?
No. Our pricing is per-tenant, not per-seat. One subscription covers your entire organization.
What happens after the free trial?
The 30 Day Trial gives you full Pro Plus feature access for 30 days, plus $100 in Outermind-supplied LLM credits you can claim during onboarding (credits are currently available to US-region customers). Trials started from our website require no payment information; when the 30 days are up we prompt you to choose a paid plan, there are no automatic charges, and you keep every configuration you built. If you start a trial through our payment checkout instead, a payment method is collected and the subscription starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Basic, Professional, and Pro Plus are paid subscriptions from day one.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
Do you offer annual discounts?
Yes. Annual billing saves approximately 17% compared to monthly. Select "Annual" in the billing toggle above.
